Childhood should be the happiest time of our life and parenthood the most fulfilling period. From some reason it seems to be getting harder both for children and their parents to enjoy those times. There are so many common issues that affect kid’s lives and the list above is not exhaustive.
According to Dr. Howard Gardner’s research from Harvard every child is a Genius and their genius can express itself in nine different areas.
What are the reasons for all these problems becoming more common?
Some say it’s genetics. Some say it’s the polluted environment.
Some think it’s the extra stress there is on families these days with both parents working.
Maybe it’s the confusing messages that parents are getting as to how it’s best to educate our children.
Could it be the fact that kids do not play outside as much as they used to?
Or maybe it’s all the negative conscious and unconscious messages from the media and internet that kids are now exposed to more than ever.
These are all contributing factors.
Let me suggest another reason that has a major play. Our environment these days changes at a very fast pace. Adults find it difficult to deal with situations since they don’t have the larger family support that once used to be available. There is an emotional build up of fear, frustration and stress.
Kids are like sponges they pick up everything from the environment especially from their parents and teachers. Until the age of seven the critical faculty (the part of us that criticises the information that goes into the subconscious) is mostly unavailable. Kids get confused and pick all those emotions and do not know how to deal with them. So they block them.
Emotions are a chemical reaction that happens in the body and if it is not allowed to take its course it creates susceptibilities. The unconscious mind finds very weird and wonderful ways to deal with emotions and the above issues are the result of that.
So how Can NLP and Hypnosis help in resolving those issues?
-
NLP and Hypnosis communicate directly with the subconscious mind it allows any traumas or negative emotions to be resolved in the subconscious level. Real change is only possible at the subconscious level where all habits emotions and memories are created and stored.
- Improve communication and cooperation between conscious and subconscious minds creating alignment within oneself and removing conflicts.
- Creates an ability to cope and resolve issues increasing intuition and understanding of one self which increases confidence.
- Creates calm and balance in mind and body and reduces stress which in turn improves learning abilities and increases the capacity of the brain.
- It creates a mind shift by increasing the vibratory level of thought increasing the capacity of the mind and ability to learn new skills.
- Best learning happens when the subconscious mind is incorporated into the learning so we teach the kid and teachers techniques of how to achieve that.
A Teacher that trained with me was able to completely transform two classes of uninterested kids that were labelled as having learning difficulties just by implementing one simple technique. Those kids suddenly found interest in learning and they keep coming to thank her for giving them this experience.
Kids are the easiest to work with when using these modalities. Their imagination and openness makes it very easy to create change. Their subconscious is more open to accept suggestions and their neurology can change very rapidly. Their beliefs and values are not concretely formed yet so they can easily accept new positive beliefs and form new values.
These techniques have helped kids increase their grades by 1 – 1.5 grades (e.g from C to B+). Your child can become a great speller and reader in a short time.
Allergies
Allergies are also an area that has good results with NLP and hypnosis
NLP has now been applied thousands of times in clinical and training settings and has been effective in changing a vast majority of allergy symptoms. The types of allergies have included those to airborne material, such as smoke, pollen, perfume, etc., to various foods, and even in cases involving asthma. In a study done in Salt Lake City (Hallbom & Smith, 1987), for example, thirty two individuals were guided through the allergy pattern for a multitude of allergies, including pollen, smoke and foods. They even treated a person who was sensitive to poison oak, which is a kind of an allergy. Out of the thirty people, all but three showed immediate reduction of their symptoms. Most of the people in the study, in fact, showed a complete suppression of the allergic reaction immediately after learning the process. A six month follow up revealed that only three of the individuals who had responded positively had any recurrence of their allergies.
In the Summer of 1994, a controlled clinical test of the Allergy Process was conducted with approximately 120 allergy sufferers. The study was conducted under the supervision of Dr. David Paul at a hospital in Vail, Colorado. The study showed that the Allergy Process produced significant reduction in the symptoms of many types of allergies, in particular food allergies. I have been getting great results working with allregies using NLP.
“ When I came to you, I was then having a little pot belly, I had asthma, you put me in hypnotherapy, you helped me that with the dust and the cats. I am not allergic to dust or cats anymore. And my health, I feel a lot fitter now. I exercise just about every second day or everyday nearly sometimes. I am starting to tone up. When I came to you I was starting to feel really dreadful physically, but now I’m feeling a lot better about it, and I really look forward to exercising, maybe sometimes I got to push myself but I really do enjoy it.”
